The best way is to slice them down the length of the bean and make sure fermentation is completely finished. Yeast will eat up the flavor if you have even a bit of fermentation going. I leave them in for 3-5 days. That's how I make the beers homebrewing and professionally.
I am a sanitary food grade welder. I am a professional Brewer and have been for 8 years. I have done lots of welding on professional and homebrew equipment. I'm located in Vernal. I currently am the operations manager for Vernal Brewing Company. I'm up for any projects people would like to do.
Thanks for all the advice. Question number 2. Which lake is the best? Criteria: least crowded, waterski, jet ski, friendly, the biggest.

There isn't much I can do about the laws. I did just come back from a 10bbl brewpub build in Utah and it was tough but not impossible. They had the 3.2 brewing law but you could brew high if you packaged in anything other than a keg.
Anyway, if I can be of any help let me know. I'm in...
I have attached a CIP Procedure Guideline. I provide it to professionals in the brewing industry. I consulted with industry chemists and chemical suppliers to write this so it would provide a great outline to begin design and implement a proprietary, high quality cleaning schedule. The only...
Do not skip the StarSan. Never skip any sanitizing step ever. You're doing it the correct way. You're sanitizing the exact way we do our heat exchangers in the professional brewing world. We're all just glorified janitors.

Here is a good IPA.
It is the scaled down version from Tallgrass Brewing Co. in Manhattan, KS. Not many people have this one. It was not given out as a public recipe. We (brewery employees) just did it for ourselves to brew at home.
Right now: Jester King
I'll give you another answer in about 6 months. I've been working with some guys in Boulder, Co to build a new brewery. One if my good friends who has been constrained by previous brewing positions, I introduced him him with these guys and I can tell you some crazy and...
