    Stuck Fermentation

    I'm not sure if you need to, but there's nothing wrong with making a starter on dry yeast. Rehydrate the yeast before you drop it into the starter.

    Bottled 5 gallons of belgian blond, dry hopped a black IPA and took a gravity reading of my dry stout. It's still too high!!

    30 pounds of pale malt, 3 packets of US-05, 2 pounds of Cascade (ordered only 1!) and a better bottle.

    Just made a white pizza with serrano ham, sun-dried tomatoes, mushroom, blue cheese, pepper and garlic. Tasty.

    Tried two beers from them, Modus Operandi (Modus Vivendi) and Madness IPA. I really liked the first one, the other one not so much.

    "Alone & Bitter" and "Brown Reason to Live", one bitter and one American brown ale, are fermenting now.

    Would this beer work with WLP004 Irish Ale yeast? I got a Guinness clone in the fermenter right now, and thought I might reuse that yeast.

    I'll be brewing this pretty soon. If my OG hits 1060, should I use 2 packs of dry yeast?
