Curious, the max output load of the Inkbird 16 is 1650W but you mention a 2250W element. Has 1650W on that element been strong enough to get to a boil in a reasonable amount of time?

Has anyone figured out how to use these two items together? The probe is too wide to be inserted into the thermowell, which would be the ideal way for me to control fermentation temp in my chamber (7cf chest freezer). Right now I just dangle the probe in the chamber but obviously ambient temp is...

I just ordered a Hydra and have the same kettle. What do you have to do to finagle the Hydra in? I was thinking that I would just try to wiggle the side of the Hydra under the temp sensor and then lower the other side.

I know most uses for pumps are nearby - recirculating mash, etc. I brew in my garage and my fermenter lives in the basement, with a point to point horizontal distance of around 25 feet and net vertical of around 8 feet down. Can a typical brew pump move wort that far?

I have a 7 cu ft Igloo freezer that I'm using for a fermentation chamber. I made a collar so I can fit my chronical and attached the original hinges between the lid and collar. I'd like to also have hinges between the collar and body but Igloo's website doesn't even list this model, let alone...

New Sankey coupler and new tubing for my new (to me) kegerator! Dual tap tower with stainless Perlick faucets arrived yesterday. Dual pressure gauge and Sankey quick disconnect adapters arrive next week. :-)

My wife, who is not typically a beer drinker, said my blueberry wheat is the best blueberry-flavored beer she's had. And a friend said if he saw my coffee chocolate stout on the shelf he'd buy it. Considering I've only brewed 5 times now, both were nice to hear.
