How do I seal a camco element into a tri-clover housing?

Thanks guys. I just received this from the manufacturer.. "No Teflon tape is needed on the element threads. These threads are NPS threads and seal on the gasket on the back of the nut. If you thread the element on so it is snug against the gasket it will not leak." Plus a mate of mine is a ss...

How do I seal a camco element into a tri-clover housing?

Not much brewing but I have been building this

Just need a label printer.. Still a way to go though. Need to make element cables up - i'm using SS tri-clamp element housings. Also need to get fittings installed/welded into the pots for the probes, elements and herms coil/pump. One day I'll get it finished.. maybe even before Xmas!

Fermentation slow to start, should I be worried?

So I've just zipped tied to the leg...

Fermentation slow to start, should I be worried?

Made a starter without nutrient. White labs 001 in 1.5 starter with 150g dme. I also oxygenated the dme with pure O2 for about 5 secs. Then straight onto stirrer plate. Both wort and yeast were at room temp. Pitched starter 16 hours ago in to 1.066. that was 20deg c. And was aerated with pure...

    Keggle meets sleep mat

Nope. I don't heat it at all. Water heated in HLT. I don't mash out currently - but plan too via circulating through the HLT once I put an element in it - currently using a burner.
