Update, carbed the water first then added root beer mix, wicked awesome. Not flat at all. Much quicker this way also

no co2 input, just a vent on top and a pull out tap on bottom. It seemed to hold its carb for a week or longer with the original root beer that came in the keg.

I've got some Virgils root beer kegs, they have a bung on top.

I would like to fill some mini kegs from my corny kegs. Do I need a racking cane to do this or can I just use my tap? Also what psi should I be doing this at? This will be from a forced carb corny keg.
