    Dark Star Burner?

Just used it today - awesome. Boiled 6 gallons fast and steady. Held up to wind well too.

Could my efficiency be that high?

Okay thanks guys. So I ended up with 5 gallons and an OG of 1.050. According to http://www.brewersfriend.com/brewhouse-efficiency/ I'm getting 76.92% efficiency. Sounds pretty good for my first all grain, right?

    New Kettle Break in

Sorry to resurrect this old thread but I just got a new 10 gal mega pot 1.2 and I'm going to brew tomorrow. It sounds like there is no break in for a ss pot but I assume I need to do a quick soap wash, correct? Maybe some oxyclean?

I'm trying to fix a leaky mash tun. The hole where the fittings go is stretched out and has a dimple at the bottom that seems to be impossible to fix with more o-rings or flat washers.

    JB Waterweld

Hey guys sorry to bump this but does anyone have a success story with waterweld in a plastic MLT?

    Newbie question about brewing lagers.

I just kegged my first lager and it's pretty good. My advice would actually be to make you give it a good d-rest. It's my understanding that certain yeast strains have a tendency to through off more diacetyl than others. My own $.2 is to watch your hydrometer samples, and don't rely on the...

Hey guys - has anyone had any luck with waterweld inside a cooler mashtun? Anyone ruin a beer or get sick from it?

    To start over?

Hey everyone, I've been on this site almost everyday for a while trying to learn as much as possible and now I'm making the switch to all grain. Thanks for all your help thus far. I've got a similar question to many people on here and I hate to ask this but I seemingly obviously have a leaky...
