I had bottles in fridge with keg so that they would be same temperature. Do you not use rubber stopper Dolomieu?

My cane fits snug inside the picnic tap. I will have to try different bottles to see if the stopper fits better.

So i tried again last night. After dropping temperature 5 degrees and bleeding pressure few hours prior. worked better but still had foaming. I think i narrowed it down to the stopper not fitting the bottle. it is very loose. LHBS said it was a #2 stopper but it doesnt make good seal to build...

Thanks Yewtah - I will try turning down to 2 PSI for a few days. Geoffm33 - I carbed with 18psi at 50 Degrees = 2.54 volumes CO2. The house is 4ft. yes i turned of gas before bleeding.

Attempted to bottle my Kolsch last night but all i got was half bottles of foam. 1. bled pressure from keg. 2. Turned pressure down to 2psi 3. Attached bottling wand with #2 stopper to picnic tap. 4. Stuck in first sanitized bottle.(stopper didnt fit bottle snug) 5. Fully opened picnic tap...

Confirmed it is a 10 gallon. There is a slight drip from ball valve but i am assuming that is because i didnt not install with teflon tape. Do you remove valve after every brew or can i leave in place?

Ok so i received the kettle this morning. took out of box and was surprised to see weldless fitting instead of the welded ones i ordered. i think i like weldless better. Pot feels really sturdy. i will update once i can fill with water afterwork.

Some of t he remaining bottles i opened over the weekend were overcarbed but tasted fine once foam went down. i am guessing i need to make sure i mix sugar better next time. Or just stick to kegging.

i left it in primary for 4 weeks. the bottles i have opened tasted great with good carbonation.

Last night i went into my brewing closet to pull some bottles for Christmas party and found that half my case of Pumpkin Beer were shattered. what could of happened to cause only half of them to explode. I never even heard them pop. Very upset to say the least.

It was more of a question to find out what "you" would get with that $100.
