    What are you drinking now?

Just mixed a six pack: dogfish head Midas touch, leinenkugel big eddy scotch ale, great divide rye lager, anchor liberty ale, some random brown ale and a flying dog woody creek Belgian white beer

I think I will, I'm going to try and get a good recipe down and then make the labels. I always say kiss my freedom loving ass and I thought freedom loving lager would be an awesome name for a beer

So I tried to drink a Coors light today.

I'll have to try that crispin cider, I am definitely guilty of the keystone light offense too haha

So I tried to drink a Coors light today.

When I was playing in a band there was a bar we played in all the time where you could get a 6 pack of PBR for 5 bucks, it was my go to drink when we played because I didn't use my share of the money we made entirely on my tab. PBR is good in my book

    New to brewing, need help

I was actually staring at the cocoa nibs at my local brew supply and thinking to myself how someday I will use them in something, I have been brainstorming a lot about all the different things I want to try after I get some brewing experience under my belt

As much as I don't like any of the light beers, nothing is as refreshing when you mow the grass on a hot day as coots light. Any other time I like to try every new/unusual craft beer I come across

Thanks for all the advice everybody, I am starting a batch of lager now, I did a brown ale last time and I was going to try some lighter beers and once I kind of got the hang of it try and add some different things in

Yeah blackberries aren't a favorite of mine but I have like 20 million of them growing out back so I figured I'd try to put them to use haha

Thanks, I still have a lot of reading up to do on the different types. I was just wondering if anything works best with berries, I'll just try a couple small batches of different kinds of beer and see what tastes the best!

You know you're a home brewer when?

When people want to try your beer and when all is said and done you have 1/4 of your batch left

    New to brewing, need help

I'm looking for some advice, I want to use some berries I have growing in my next batch of beer. I wanted to make a porter with some blackberries, should I try them with porter or go with an ale?
