    Raspberry Pi Temp Controller

    This is really inspiring... Looking to do something similar. However I am curious what is the advantage of I2C over normal GPIO for driving the SSR? GPIO seems to work. Is it speed? More potential devices chained on I2C? Reliability? Thanks
