    I have done multiple brews and all different types, all extract. I keep getting a fruity type after taste. The last batches i did we a corona clone and a stella clone...neith have same ingriedients...the only common ingredient is the water im using and the sanitizer that i am thoroughly washing...

    Stuck 1 in fridge saturday nite and had one to celebrate fathers day. Came out tasting great, wish ot had just a little more carbination and more of a head, it was only about 1/4" head. And im thinking it should have been a little lighter, but i dont know. Thanks again for your help.

    Just to add to the same thread, because its along the same lines....i am currently using a bucket for fermentation, i was thinking about purchasing a carboy, or better bottle. I am only doing single stage fermentation as of now...can that be used for single stage fermentation? Any drawbacks or...

    Ok, relieved pressure, sanitized and put in blow off valve. Does this have anything to do with the different airlock?

    Never took OG on that batch...just did second batch of a different kind and that OG was 1.095. Retested first batch today and it was 1.011. Like i said that was our first brew and we made some mistakes and are learning.
