I have made this twice now the first was a 5 gal. batch hit og right on. The second one i did a 10 gal batch just doubled every thing and my og was 1.074 guess I will see how it turns out. The first batch was great and it didn't last long.

I've used notty once and just sprinkled it right on top of the wort turned out great.

took some to a meeting of a brew club i'm in they didn't think it was an infection but maybe something with the pumpkin pie spice in it. all in all just not a beer style i really like it sounded good but you just don't know until you try.

well still has a sour smell to it. the one thing I can say is it doesn't taste as bad as it smells. I think this will be my first and last pumpkin beer I make.

I just brewed this up yesterday. I am going to use george dickel #12 in mine I think it should turn out ok.

Just got done brewing this beer followed to a tee except added 1 lb. rice hulls. This is going to be a pretty big beer got a OG of 1.067. Now to figure out what coffee I want to use might let my wife decide that since I brewed it on her request.

i took one of the other jars of yeast and it smelled and tasted fine

put my pumpkin beer into a keg today and tasted the hydrometer reading sample it was sour as can be. not sure what happened never seen anything growing or floating on the to top like an infection but something went wrong some were. It did have a good fg 1.010 going to let it carb up and see...

might be something worth looking into but might try a plastic one first.
