    I have made this twice now the first was a 5 gal. batch hit og right on. The second one i did a 10 gal batch just doubled every thing and my og was 1.074 guess I will see how it turns out. The first batch was great and it didn't last long.

    pumpkin beer has a sour taste ?

    took some to a meeting of a brew club i'm in they didn't think it was an infection but maybe something with the pumpkin pie spice in it. all in all just not a beer style i really like it sounded good but you just don't know until you try.

    well still has a sour smell to it. the one thing I can say is it doesn't taste as bad as it smells. I think this will be my first and last pumpkin beer I make.

    Spice, Herb, or Vegetable Beer McAustin's Mocha Stout (w/cold-brewed coffee)

    Just got done brewing this beer followed to a tee except added 1 lb. rice hulls. This is going to be a pretty big beer got a OG of 1.067. Now to figure out what coffee I want to use might let my wife decide that since I brewed it on her request.
