    Bad Beer Blues!

Just tasted my Dry Hopped APA and I am disapointed that it soured on me! It tastes like rust and has a sour fragrance. I guess it got an infection. I notice a ring in the bottle after it's poured. Is that a sign of bad. I plan on doing it again. I will do a bleaching to all my...

I have batch in primary now that I will dry hop in secondary. I read some posts that state to put the hops in without puting them in a bag. They state to put a muslin bag over the siphoner tip when you transfer. I see that this will keep the hop leaves out of the bottleing bucket but wont it...

Using a muslin bag. Any tips?

When I brew I put EVERYTHING in the muslin bag. Steeping grains, hops, moss, etc. at appropriate times of course! Is this a good thing or ? I use hop pellets so I don't like the stuff floating around. Same for the moss. Does this interfere with the hop flovors that one wants? Should I use...

    Using Apple wood in Ferment?

I know that AB uses 'Beechwood Aging' but is it possible to use Apple wood Chips in Fermentation. Maybe the secondary? I know they should be boiled for a bit to steralize before introducing into the Wort.

Would you pay over $500 for a 750ml beer?

Sam Adams Boston Lager is probably my favorite brew to throw back but I found this and was shocked! http://www.internetwines.com/rws28347.html 25% ABV sounds good! To bad it can't be sold in Missouri!
