I'm looking to buy faucets and shanks for a keezer that I am building. I thought there might be people out there who have upgraded to Perlicks and might want to get rid of there old faucets. If anyone has anything they are willing to sell me cheap, I would appreciate it.

I'm currently building a upright keezer and want to drill the holes in the door for taps that I will eventually buy. My plan is to use picinic taps through the holes and insulate with foam until I save enough money to buy Perlick taps and SS shanks. I've read of people using both 7/8" and 1"...

I am pretty new to homebrewing and want to start kegging. I found these kegs, but before I buy them, I want to know if anyone has used this type before. The lid is different than normal and I was worried it might not work for homebrew.
