    My 1st try at a hazy ipa. 6lb Pilsen lme 1lb oats steeped for 30 1oz ea citra,mosaic,Galaxy once cooled to 170 for 20 min then restarted the chiller.     Here is my water profile for my ipa I’m making. I’m using either 6 or 8 lb Pilsen lme, steeping 1lb of Quaker Oats and have citra/mosaic/galaxy/Amarillo at my disposal.     I have temp control with a home built st1000 and keezer and I’m going to transfer with a autosiphon into a keg I’ll pre flooded with co2.     Blah beer- can I add in keg?

    I’ve got 4oz willamette cone and 4oz cascade cone freeze dried as well.. what does everyone suggest? Should I just bomb it w cone hops?

    My attempt to use local hops left me with a bland beer in the keg. Can I add an oz or 2 in a tea strainerball to maybe up the taste? I have a bunch of good ol Cascade and 1oz of centennial pellets sitting around.

    Kinda interested in what you guys think about adding jarrylo to a cream ale kit I have. The cream ale kit has only cascade but I have 1oz if jarrylo that I really want to experiment with? Any opinions or knowledge about jarrylo pairing would be greatly appreciated!

    do you have pics of the hinge system you used on the back and where did you get them? Also I have read that some are having problems with the lid interfering with the keg on the compressor hump. I have the 705 as well and need to know if you ran into any issues! thanks!:rockin:

    Anyone seen yeast finish like this?

    My yeast cake looks like a moonscape! Used danstar Nottingham on NB's nut brown porter. 1st one I've had turn out looking like this.. Any ideas or is this the norm..

    First time force carbonating!!!

    I keg and then put 35psi on it, roll keg on the garage floor still hooked up until I hear no more gas going in, then set in the fridge at 40* for 24 hrs. Bleed all pressure off and set to serving pressure (I run 9psi) It is a little foamy the first few pours, but in a day its right as rain.
