    Mash Water Calculator

    im just wondering what people use for there calculator , with it being a app or site .. i been using Brewgr site but i end up with an extra .5 gal of wort all the time if i dont factor it in.. im just doing a single infusion / batch sparge with my brews!

    useing to kinds

    i made a rye beer 2 mths ago and i used 2 kinds of dry yeast one was a Safale S-04 about a mth past exp date and the 2nd was Safbrew S-33 about 8 mth past exp date.. i ferment temp was about 64 f .. the beer caMe out great. my question is do you think one yeast took over the other in the ferment...

    i was telling a friend how important good water is to brew with.. he sent me a water analysis report from his town but i dont know how to break it down for him.. is his water good for brewing ? do he need to add anything to it? here is the attched file he sent me

    about 20 batches of beers in . i wanted to try an experment with brewing a 5 gal batch of some honey wheat and split it in 2 batches one with wlp 320 yeast(witch was harvest from yeast washing for a batch of wheat beer) and 2nd with a widmer hef yeast (i got with 2 bottles) . i did make a yeast...
