    Festbier BierMuncher's OktoberFAST Ale (AG)

Really excited for this one. It's mashing as I type (a huge 1.5 gallon batch)and will be one of the last brews before vacation. My older brother is a beer lover and I'm excited for him to try this one. Thanks for the recipe :)

Brew day went great, this is my 7th brew so I'm pretty newbish but I nailed the OG after converting to 84% brewhouse eff. Thanks for the recipe. Weissbier Bee Cave Brewery Bavarian Hefeweizen

I couldn't help it. After only a week In the bottle I had to try it and wow I really like it already. Some banana flavors present and damn smooth with a nice well rounded body.

2 gal pales and that's about it. I seem to have a lot of hobbies that fizzle out so I didn't want to invest a lot for new pots and carboys and such. Also this gives me the ability to try more new things and if one sucks I won't feel as bad dumping it. Plus I don't drink a whole lot (for now) :)

I think you and your brother should do some blind tastings on vacation with your family. See who is the better brewer. Sounds like a good reason to start brewing more if you're competitive like me.

Weissbier Bee Cave Brewery Bavarian Hefeweizen

Just made a 1.5 gal batch of this. It smelled so good. Overshot my OG and hit 1.060. It'll be a little out of style but I hope it's still yummy. Will the extra 1% alcohol effect the taste a lot? Many thanks for the recipe sir!

    1-Gallon Brewers UNITE!

First let me say thanks to this thread. It inspired me to start brewing and start with all grain too. Seemed much less intimidating to start all grain with small batches. My question: I brewed Edwort's Haus pale ale and will bottle it tomorrow. It's a 1.5 gallon batch in a 2 gallon bucket. Ill...

I just got done brewing this and got 1.042 OG. I'm pretty stoked at my efficiency since this is only my second brewing experience. Did AG BIAB 1.5 gal small batch. Only took 3.5 hours. I'm very ready to try this one in a few weeks. :D
