    How does temperature change affect fermentation?

    I just finished my 4th ag batch and when I pitched the yeast it was around 70 degrees and the airlock was very active. Now 2 days later it's in the 40's and everything has slowed way down. Do I have anything to worry about? Btw it's a amber ale with safale s-04 thanks Sent from my iPhone...

    secondary fermentation

    I'm on my 3rd ag batch (Amber Ale) I just transfered it from the primary where it spent 8days I usally leave it in the secondary for 14 days just wandering if I could shorten that time. The o.g. was 1.050 and when I transfered it was at 1.008 Thx.

    trying to create a beer for my bmc friends

    9# 2 row 1# flaked corn 1/2# carapils 1/2# crystal 60 1oz. Cascade for 60min. safale s-04 Trying to convince my friend to try home brew not sure about this recipe but I thought it may be light enough. Any suggestions? Thanks

    ibu measurements

    Can anyone tell me the difference between tinseth, rager and garetz? The brew software I use always asks which one I prefer when building a recipe. I just know that Sam Adams is 30 ibu and that's about as bitter as I like. Thanks

    Belgian wit

    I have my second ag batch in the secondary now. its a wit. Just wandering if I can add corriander to the secondary? Put 1/2 oz. in at 10min. Just did'nt seem to have the aroma when I racked it to the sec. Thanks

    first ag batch funny after taste

    I just opened a bottle of my first ag batch. (Blonde Ale) It has kind of a plastic after taste. Not sure if its because of my equipment which is all new. Cooler mash tun, 10gal. aluminum kettle, or if its the hops,yeast,irish moss. which is hallertauer,saaz, and wlp california ale yeast. any...
