On a related note, does anyone here know how clover partitions it's nitrogen, i.e. what is the ratio of nitrogen in leafy parts to the roots. I always mulch my hops with white clover but I don't actually grow white clover over the hops. I can't find too much concerning this.

My first thought is that a hop variety developed in England might not do so well in the desert southwest. I have had trouble with Goldings in Boise, I just replaced them.

Not to split "hairs" but at this point they are burrs, not trychomes. Either way nice, I have about a month to go before mine burr here in Idaho. Get that fresh hop recipe picked out.
