    Also lagers require a longer fermentation than ales. So therefore allowing more time for the harder particles to drop to the bottom. When transferring to second or third just be careful to not stir that stuff up or it will end up in ur beer

    Upgrading grain size

    I'm just gonna be making iPa's, pale ales and if possible maybe darker brew maybe a porter? but I know ill need to get the darker grains in smaller quantities

    I'm making a ale and its been fermenting for about 9 days. I'm not planing on doing secondary ferm so how long should I leave it in primary fermentor to achieve a good brew?

    Hahaha yea ur right but I do have a lot of stems and stuff saved up so I think I will try to steep them in my next brew and put some Vienna malt and caramalt and some hops I think it will be a tasty simple brew

    Leave beer longer?

    If you really wanna clear the beer up just transfer it to another carboy so that there's less yeast and you can leave it for another week or so and it will be a nice clear brew

    I'm making a dark orange ale and after I cooled my wort down to 72 I pitched 8.5 grams of yeast into my 2.8 gallons of wort and the 1st day it would only bubble once every 28 seconds and now it's 6 days later and it's only doing one bubble every 31 seconds. Can someone tell me what I'm doing...
