American Pale Ale Sacred Summit Pale Ale (AG) [[ Gold Medal and Best In Show ]]

After the 2-week wait for the bottles to condition, I cracked one of these open last night. HOLY COW THIS STUFF IS GOOD! So far my favorite beer I've made. The tangerine flavor comes through fantastically! I will definitely be adding this into my "MAKE AGAIN IMMEDIATELY" category once I'm out of...

American Pale Ale Sacred Summit Pale Ale (AG) [[ Gold Medal and Best In Show ]]

Brewed this on Memorial day as I smoked some ribs. Hit the OG spot on and its happily fermenting away in the basement with a 2" krausen! Can't wait for this one to be done!!

What's your favorite beer store in Columbus?

Wet to Gentile's for the first time this week. They were nice people, showed me around, showed me their grain mill and how to use it. I'll go back at some point!

Pets named after beer? SHARE PHOTOS!

I named by Boxer/Beagle mix "Jager" after Jagermeister... he was adopted when I lived in a fraternity house before I really got into brewing/craft brews... and I was NOT gonna name him Busch, or Natty, or Miller

Where are the corny keg deals at?

My LHBS sells them for $49... if only I was into the Kegging stage... but JUST getting into brewing (one batch in), not in the finances for me yet.

    calling all disc golfers.....

Cool deal. I know there's one in Delaware somewhere. I just moved back to the area (went to school in NW Ohio, then moved to Northern VA, then moved back a few months ago)

    calling all disc golfers.....

LOVE disc golf, we had a course through my college campus that I loved... Except for losing an occasional disc in the ponds from an errant throw. Need to find a new course as that one is over an hour away now :(

    Cream Ale Fizzy Yellow Beer

No, but if you're gonna pay the same amount for the same stuff overall, I'd say go with the LHBS, you can monitor the crush (assuming you don't have a mill), plus if you're ever in pinch, and need somethin fast, the LBHS will be there, versus just needing some yeast and a pound of something and...
