    Blonde Ale Murican Blonde Ale

Wanted to post a picture of this one before it's gone. A very tasty, refreshing, easy drinking beer. Perfect on a summer day. And my wife is very excited about all the yeast taking up room in the fridge...no, not really. Thanks again for this one.

    What are you drinking now?

Is that 6 days grain to glass?

Blonde Ale Centennial Blonde (Simple 4% All Grain, 5 & 10 Gall)

Brewer's friend says you need a little more than 3 packs for 10.5 gallons. Personally I would rehydrate 2 packs and not worry at all. I would definitely NOT pitch only 1 pack.

Irish Red Ale Raging Red Irish Red Ale

Beautiful beer, and tasty too. Brewed up 10 gallons, 5 followed the recipe and the other 5 got a 20 min. Hop stand with a couple ounces of Chinook and 3 ounces Simcoe to create a fairly tasty "NW Amber". Thanks for the recipe.

A half ounce puts me right there, actually an ounce because this one is gonna be 10 gallons.....It's springtime and Blondes are beautiful. Thanks for the amazingly quick reply. Cheers.

    Blonde Ale Murican Blonde Ale

This may sound like a newb question but....This one is next up on my list and I am going to sub some Hallertau Mittlefruh hops because that's what I have on hand. With those hops at 3.8%, Beersmith puts me at only 11 ibus. Just wondering if I should... a) RDWHAH and follow the recipe b) Add...

Help with low attenuation of 52% with London Ale III 1318 (previous batch as well with s-04)

I would say the temp is definitely playing a role. For your next batch I would start fermentation in the ambient 60 then after a few days move it to the 70 degree room to finish it out. Also, maybe check your thermometers to make sure you are not mashing at a higher temp than you want to...

    Iphone into perfect wort....

If you are really worried about it, bring it back to a boil for a few minutes and kill of anything that got in there. Sorry about your phone, hope it keeps on working.

Bottled 11 gallons/3 batches of cider, didn't add campden tablets - what to expect?

My guess......green bottle caps being sanitized. Had me for a second also.

Problems creating a custom report in BeerSmith

Thanks for getting back to me. I did finally figure it out and of course it was a case of operator error. When I went to load the template back into BeerSmith I was doing it as a text file instead of an html. Switched that and "voila" a brand new Brew Day Template. Very Exciting. This was...

Problems creating a custom report in BeerSmith

I have been trying to make a custom report in BeerSmith this afternoon and I keep running into the same problem. I am not too much of a computer guy so I followed the instructions on how to customize a report in this and everything was going great until the very end when I looked at my new...

    Vancouver (BC) breweries

Don't know about Vancouver, but if you get a chance you should drive an hour south to Bellingham for the day. Chuckanut, Kulshan, Aslan, Boundary Bay, and Wander are all great breweries.

    Homemade PBW Recipe

They carry this at Fred Meyer also. I was wondering if anyone has used this as a substitute for the 7th Generation?
