    Immersion Wort Chiller Cooling Time

I stir my wort to create a whirlpool while chilling with an immersion chiller. I usually get to around 70 degrees in 10-12 minutes then let it sit for another 2-3 minutes before autosiphoning from the kettle to carboy. I cut the IC when I've got about half of the wort in the carboy. It's a bit...

    2016 Xmas TREE--- Lets see!

We went a little crazy this year - 13 feet seems to be the max for our foyer! My pregnant wife and I struggled to get it upright, and it left a mark on the ceiling near the stairs, but totally worth it. I love being able to walk out of my bedroom at the top of the landing and see the star.[emoji2]

co worker gave this to me this morning

Well, then maybe I'm wrong on gas station beer selection. My only experience is with the San Diego area, where it was all BMC, at least on my neighborhood. I think that maybe Sheetz and Wawa would have a leg up on, say, A-plus or Hess, what with their extended MTO food selections.

That's awesome! I've traveled far and wide, lived in SoCal and Oregon in addition to PA, but I've never seen gas station growler fills.

    Mango in Beer?

+1 to this. I did a mango rhubarb wheat last year, five pounds of champagne mangoes from Costco in the secondary (plus another 1/2 pound of rhubarb). It was horrible at first, but mellowed out perfectly after 3 months in the bottle. I'm definitely going to brew it up again soon, it's a great...

co worker gave this to me this morning

Please, what gas station is going to sell anything outside of BMC? The current proposed legislation is going to kill your local distributor and put thousands of people out of jobs. It's not good for craft brew or Pennsylvania's breweries. I'm all for the commonwealth being out of the liquor...

American Pale Ale 15 Minute Cascade Pale Ale

I just popped open my first attempt at this...wow! After just two and a half weeks in the bottle, this IPA is grapefruity goodness. I was worried because after three weeks in primary, I dry hopped with two ounces of pellets right on top of the krausen. One week later, I bottled as usual, but the...
