    I went for the 26 gallon pot. I hope it isn't too much over kill. Currantly doing 5 gallon batches but want to start doing 10 and was worrying about boil over in a 15 gal. kettle. wouul I still be able to do 5 gallons in this big kettle or is it too big?

    What are you using to calculate your O.G. ? you might want to bump up the efficincy setting to beter hit your expected O.G.

    How many kegs of a tank of CO2 Leak?

    How many 5 gallon kegs should I get out of a 10 lb tank. I only got 5 kegs and its out. I just turned the pressure way down a few days ago because my kegs were a little over carbed, would the lack of pressuure at the regulator cause the kegs to leak?

    I am new to kegging and I have a beer that tasted really good but then the cabination got to high ( my falt) has a real bite to it now. How do I adjust the carb level? Just let the pressure off for a few days or what?

    how much head space needed for keg?

    I brew 5 1/2 gallon batches so I can fill as full as needed and leave the trub.

    Mash in question?

    I do add water that is higher than my mash temp. I use brewsmith and add the the water acording to the program. It does tell me to preheat the mash tun first.

    so far I have been using hot water 190 degrees to preheat my mash tun then I dump this water and either add my grain then water or water then grain. I havent noticed any real differance in my beer so far but was wondering what the preferred methode is?

    aerating for AG

    what I have been doing is as I fill my fermentation bucket with my auto syphen I keep filling a gallon water jug 1/3 to 1/2 full and shake it vigoruosly. then add it to the fermentor. seems to be working fine so far ( 4 batches)
