    I brewed this this afternoon, most everything went well and it smelled really good. Had a minor issue with my chiller, then my thermometer crapped out mid chill. I knew something was up when the temp started to increase.... My preboil gravity was 1.053(76% efficiency), post boil was 1.070...

    Did you copy only the picprog.ino to a picprog folder? The folder shouldnt have ANY other fies in it. I didnt do that the first time and was getting all kinds of weird errors. Doesnt sound like this is the case with you but thought I'd throw it out there just in case.

    I'm no electrical expert either, but I personally wouldn't use 16ga to run a fridge/freezer. A quick search showed 16ga is good to 13 amps. Thats probably plenty to run your fridge(and the stc1000 is good for 10amps at 110v anyway), however, if your circuit breaker is a 15 or 20 amp, the 16ga...

    I brewed this last week, my OG was 1.062 and real close to 5.5 gallons in the fermenter. This was my first brew ever! My brother in law has been brewing for a year or so, so I just jumped straight into all grain with his help. Looking forward to the finished product
