    Homegrown (hops) to dry hop?

    hey friends i have homegrown cascade, magnum, and nugget. i would very much like to make an ipa with 100% my hops. my question is, 1. what should i use when? 2. what can i do, if anything to sanitize the hops for dry hopping? thanks.

    hello all, i made a pear mead about 9 months ago and have racked it 3 times. i think i used pectic enzyme, but am not absolutely sure as i didnt write down the recipe. Is it possible to add it now to help it clear? thanks.

    white stuff on top after bottling!

    i made a straight cider with just yeast and cider with no added sugar. it cleared beautifully and i bottled it in half gallon jugs. 4 days later there is white stuff on top! there wasn't anything on top when i racked it; whats the deal? everything was sanitized. Thanks.

    can i add water?

    when i originally made JAOM, i didnt have a 1 gallon carboy; it was slightly less in fact. now i have one to use. can i add water after a month of fermenting to bring it up to a gallon? also, is it going to ruin the flavor if i take it of the orange and clove?
