I'll bring you some Home Brew when I bring over the cash! Glad you got a hold of me, and if you need more room in the future I would happily go with you and we could take my truck.
I think the problem is you need to set up a account first with them, that is why you can't just show up and buy stuff from them. I just need to open my own Brew Shop in Red Deer that should solve the problem of shopping there.
No I called them last year and they said they wouldn't sell me malt because I was a home brewer, and that I needed to buy the bags of malt from my local brew shop. Since then I have ordered sacks of Gambrinus from HopDawgs.ca
I usually just break my water in to 2 half's one for the Mash, and the other half for the sparge. Most of my mashes are around 154F for 60 mins, and then Ill run that off and then add my sparge water around 169-170F for 15 mins then run that off in to my kettle. I am getting around 70%...
I really, really want to brew this. I love Malt forward APA's, and I have some Denny's favourite 50 just about ready to be washed from my Falconer's Flight IPA! :)
AG Brewer here in Red Deer, Alberta. I am 1 of 2 known home brewers in a city of 90000, sad. 2 Wine Brewing shops in RD, so I have to source my stuff online or go to Edmonton, or Calgary.
I think I have about 150 Grolsch Bottles in my collection, and I am slowly moving towards 650ml (22oz) Bombers one beer buy at a time. Just need to figure out how to get the painted labels off the Rogue bottles.
