    Vanilla Extract

    I was wanting to add vanilla extract to my 5 gallon of peach and 6 gallon of strawberry, I was just wondering when to add and how much? Has anyone experimented with this? Thanks in advance.

    I didn't see anywhere in this forum where this subject was available. I did notice it in other forums so I thought what the hell, I'll try and get something started. My apologies if it was buried in this forum somewhere. First one is a Merlot, second, a Apple/Cherry, and third a Strawberry.

    Strawberry wine top off

    I racked my strawberry wine today because it had so much sediment on the bottom. After I was done I was about a half gallon short of topping off. I was wondering what I should use to top off, besides water? White wine, grain alcohol, or maybe bourbon?

    nylon bag

    Do I have to put fruit into a nylon bag when making a strawberry wine or can I just let it float in the primary? Seems like a lot of lost juice if I put it into a bag and take it out.

    Acid blend

    If I use a 1 gallon recipe to make a 6 gallon batch, Do I multiply the acid blend by 6 also or is that to much acid blend? same question about tannin also.
