You info is waaay incorrect, for one a mig CAN weld SS and alum, you just need the right gas mix for stainless and the SS wire obviously. And you need a spool gun for welding AL because the wire is too soft and gets kinked in the long lead, you also need the specific gas in this case 100% argon...

The London ale doesn't seem to attenuate real well compared to cali ale, I'd mash lower IMO. And I use a big starter and pure O2.

Waaaay too high, I mashed at 149. DIPA are typically finished low to dry it out. With a big beer like this it will already finish a tad higher. I think mine finished at 1.014 with mashing at 149 so unless you want a 1.020 fg I would mash lower.

Fermcap s is your friend, a few drops and no volcano...I do full 2L starters with zero boil over.

FWIW I brewed a split batch of this beer with half WLP001 and half Notty (like the original recipe calls for) and the 001 was MUCH better according to me and all others who tasted this brew.

I brewed it with the hopshots and it turned out dead on. I'd just pick up some hopshots from NB, they are real cheap.
