Brewed this up Saturday and all I can say is I never expected as crazy of a fermentation. Wow! Just a laugh riot sitting and watching it go crazy. Blow off is a must for this. Smells are fantastic.
Alright what kinda honey you all use? I have a local bee lady I can get jars from just didn't know if it need to be filtered pasteurized or any of that other happy b.s. thanks for any info
That looks like a heck of a great beer! Can't wait to get mine in the keg this weekend. So lucky to have a bar down the street that has this on tap when I run out.
Brewed 5 gallons of this up last night and came out a little hi on og 1.064. Had to scale back the hop additions because of 4.9 alpha. Cooled it down to 62 and it starting to bubble this morning. Looking forward to this one.

Doing this one up again this weekend as I'm down to half a keg left on this. Great brew. Was at Floyd's last week for lunch and had a glass but couldn't get growler to go. Would have liked to do side by side. House brew around here this summer.
