2nd year centennial is still growing up and over, no burrs yet, expecting a bigger yield than last year (6 cones).
Just tried a new trick today to clean out plastic carboy:
I was not able to reach the bottom of the carboy with the bottle brush. So I added a 1/4 cup of uncooked rice and 2 cups of water and shook things up. The rice was abrasive enough to clean the hard to reach places.
