I always get a lingering bitterness when drinking warm hydrometer samples too. Cold, carbonated, conditioned beer tastes much better!

Mashing a Bavarian helles right now that I plan to add late addition haslertau, cascade and chinook hops (at 5 minutes) and then will dry hop with cascade and chinook. I've been inspired by the aroma and flavor of jacks abbey hoponius union.

Northern Brewer AG Farmhouse Bier de Table kit. It's great, a nice easy drinker with a tart funk to it. Fermented at 75F.

that's definitely a krausen. You have active fermentation.

They sell bottles at most package stores or supermarkets depending on your area. You just have to find a way to empty the fluid that comes with them! :tank:

Does anyone know where to get a replacement for the double-sided rubber washer in the CO2 housing? The repair kit on the TAD site seems to only have a regular o-ring.
