It works great ! I had my first on a 1 gallon bottle and now use them on my 3 and 5's as well. No blowouts yet and best of all ZERO smell. Cool deal. I'll definitely have to work a couple of these up. Thanks for the great idea! ...oh and BOOMER SOONER! :rockin:

There are several ales (german kolsch) that i love but don't brew simply because it makes my office smell like godzilla took a sh*t in the middle of it. Does it work well? This would be very, very useful. Just have to watch out for blow-outs for the first few days?

Yeah that's very impressive! I used maple. It's not bad once you get used to it. You'll need a wood burning tool to run the darkened details like that. They can be bought pretty cheap too at your local dept stores. Best of luck!

Update: Recieved this order today. They sent a 3-way manifold with two check valves and a plug in the middle. The hose was all there. The upgrade on the manifold makes me feel a little better about the whole thing. Sorry to say that it won't make me feel comfortable about using this...
