Just wanted to give props, where props are due. Ed, thanks for the great service and for the quick turnaround on the shipping. You now have one more repeat customer on your list. One thing I would like to point out is the recipe selector that matches so many recipes on this site. I just...

    very slow leak

I had the same thing happen to me. It turned out to be the pressure release valve in the middle of the lid. Thankfully I had another empty corny, and I just swapped the valve and it held the pressure. It does stink to come home from work and find your CO2 gone and you have to drink flat beer...

    propane burner inquiry

It could be a number of things. I usually get about 5 batches with one tank and that is using it to heat strike water, sparge, and boil. I just have the simple king cooker burner nothing extreme. I would check for leaks, maybe use soapy water around the connections, (not lit of course) open...

    Acorn Beer?

I never used acorns before, but I do a lot of cooking. You may want to try roasting the acorns first before grinding them to a flour. If you roast them before hand, you can leech out the oils from the acorn and it could give you a nice flavor. Just a suggestion... Let us know how it turns out.

    Dishwasher...

I use the High Temp/Sanitize feature with my dishwasher w/o detergent. So far, so good. I do rinse the bottles out really good with the "jet bottle washer" (Jet Carboy and Bottle Washer Company) before I load them in the washer. The reason I do not use detergent is that I heard it can...

    Easiest labeling solution for relabeling?

I think the easiest way for labeling bottles is to use the "milk" method. I print my labels to my work's color laser jet printer using standard paper and paste them with milk. Just cut your labels accordingly and with a pastry brush, or a bbq brush, slap some milk on the back and stick it...
