American Pale Ale Russian River Row 2 Hill 56 Clone

Brewed this last Sunday. Had a small boil over at the 90 minute addition so I tossed in some Columbus to account for the hops that ended up on my balcony! Fermenting at 68 with S-05 and will dryhop on Tuesday if FG has been reached. Sent from my iPhone using Home Brew

My understanding is that it closed Sunday night and once Bill hears what is available he will send the invoices out.

Hops Group Buy in Chicago #2

As I mentioned on the Facebook page, I just bought a vacuum sealer last night for butchering the deer I got this last weekend. So the sealer will allow me to order a couple pounds of hops.

    Strong Bitter Common Room ESB

Brewed on Sunday. Only had an ounce of EKG so I modified and used more Fuggle. Also went with wy1968. Airlock has been going crazy, plan to transfer to secondary in a week and raise temp to 68-70. I want it kegged and ready to drink by the 23rd. Can't wait

Thanks for the update Bill! On another note, this delay is a perfect example of why we stress prompt payment. There's a chance we would have all had our grain and been brewing with it already. Hopefully people will realize not to order if they don't have the funds the day the buy closes.

Bill, just a heads up that I am going to be out of town the 19th and 20th. I've only got one sack of M.O. though

Brewing on a natural gas stove

I spread the pot over both burners too, however I recommend covering the space between the burners or surrounding them with aluminum foil in case of boil over or if your stove is white to avoid discoloring the paint.

So the moment the one that has made arrangements to pay does so, then game over for the no-call no-show?

I had to to sign up again as my login didn't work. I'll probably only get one sack of 2row and something else. When will this close? My brewing time has suffered with vacation and moving and I don't know if I'll have anything to bring. Yesterday was my first brew since July 1.

Though I didn't pick up much this buy, can't wait to get to brewing with what i did get. I have been holding off til I get the keezer operational. I just need to build a cheap collar and fill my tank. I have messed with the thermostat to run in upper 30's low 40's until I get a temp controller.

I would have loved to have picked up a LOT more grain this time, but I have been on a spending freeze. My best man is getting married in two weeks and I am reciprocating the honor. Thank god for Bill Me Later, my kegging system arrives tomorrow!

What are you brewing for NHBD 2013?

Cheers! That coat on the porch is wrapped around the mash tun with my American Wheat inside. First time since September brewing outside! SWMBO is happy that the house won't smell like malt and hops.

    They're Back! 2.5 & 5 Gallon Kegs + 10% OFF KEG KITS SALE!

The 5# tanks prices are red when added to the shopping cart which seems to reflect the 10% off, but when I added a 3 faucet fridge kit and upgraded to perlick 525ss they don't do the same. I understand if there isn't 10% on the faucets, but I figured the kit would be in red just like the co2...

What are you brewing for NHBD 2013?

I figured I would start a thread and see what everyone is brewing this weekend in celebration for National Homebrew Day on May 7th. I know there is a what are you brewing this weekend thread, but I figured this could/should be a separate thread. I'll start... I am brewing an American Wheat...
