    IPA recipe. Too many hops?

Here's a recipe I'm working on ... wondering if it has too many hops. (Is that possible?) My thought is to get a nice base recipe with some easy to get hops (Cascade/Centennial) and change up the late hops (sub Citra or Mosaic, etc. for the Amarillo). All feedback appreciated. Volume...

BIAB mash temp difference from top to bottom of kettle

I'm doing my first AG BIAB. I'm noticing the thermometer at the bottom of the kettle is reading warmer than the temp at the top. I figure this is normalish, but wonder what temp to use for knowing whether I'm at the temp I'm shooting for in the mash. The temp at the bottom is almost 170 (...

    Keg Kit Deal (birdmanbrewing)

Is this as good a deal as it seems? I'm looking for a 2 tap setup, but this might be a way to get started? I'd have to add a CO2 tank, but I already have the kegs. http://www.birdmanbrewing.com/keg-kit-standard-homebrew/ $54.99 Dual gauge CO2 regulator Picnic tap with 5’ of 3/16” clear...

    Forgot the Irish Moss

I just bottled an IPA that was much cloudier than usual. I did two things differently on this batch: 1) I forgot the Irish moss in the boil and 2) I dry hopped in the primary instead of moving it to a secondary. A couple questions. Will the cloudiness adversely affect the taste? Was it more...
