WANTED: 5 Gallon Ball Lock Corny - Boston

Ah. I wasn't really looking to sell (I wouldn't want to lose money on them having only recently bought, and you probably want to buy it for less than market price), but was open for a trade depending on what was up. Good luck in your search!

WANTED: 5 Gallon Ball Lock Corny - Boston

enthuzed: I kind of over-bought last time (of course, if I get rid of any, I'm sure I'll run out and wish I had them again). What are you looking to trade for one?

    (Free) Bottling Buckets

Just wanted to update the post to let you guys know the buckets are now gone.

    Pre-boil DME

Especially when it comes to DME (vs LME), I prefer to add it earlier rather than later. The DME can start to boil over if it's added later, requiring a closer monitoring of the level.

    (Free) Bottling Buckets

I'm in Newton, MA, which is just outside of Boston (next city out from Brookline).

    (Free) Bottling Buckets

Heh...nope. But I'm guessing for the ones that don't respond to me in the Boston area or tell me I'm not the first to contact them are typically you! Waterster: No problem at all! I believe in karma to an extent, and I also would just hate to throw something out if someone else can use it.

    Long Island craigslist find

That's a great price. If I was in the LI area, I'd be all over it!

    (Free) Bottling Buckets

I have a couple USED bottling buckets that have been used by people other than myself. I have a bad habit of buying things on craigslist when people who have given up the hobby are "selling everything for $20" or things of the sorts. At least one of the buckets doesn't seem to have any scratches...

    Kegging/All Grain Stuff - $550

I'm with zeekage. I'd be interested in the CO2 tank and some other misc items if you decide to split it up.

Computer Fan In Kegerator (not for tower)?

Yeah, after everything, I think I'm all set with a computer fan. I just need to figure out the best way to do it for me.

Dual Tap Tower, SS Perlick Forward Sealing Faucet, SS Tower Shank

I (obviously) haven't received the item from uncleben113 yet as the payment was just sent today, but my endorsement goes to him for anyone who may consider buying from him in the future. Very easy transaction, great communication, and as is for everyone on here, he's a homebrewer. What more...

    (2) 1800W Induction cook tops

I would request that people please do NOT try touching the induction cooktop after boiling water. While it does not cook by creating heat on the cooktop itself (it heats the pot instead), the cooktop does indeed get hot. If a hot pot is on top of a surface, the surface in turn gets hot...

Computer Fan In Kegerator (not for tower)?

My kegerator is in the kitchen, virtually right next to the dinner table :P

Computer Fan In Kegerator (not for tower)?

Having a lot of air is a good thing. I was planning on running a supply to the tower from the same fan, so that works even better! When you say it makes noise, how much noise are we talking? Is my wife going to make me "undo" the work after I do it? ;-)

Computer Fan In Kegerator (not for tower)?

thanks a ton for the input. I'm absolutely going to check out that route!
  19. LarrySteeze

Computer Fan In Kegerator (not for tower)?

That could make sense...I'd assume any air blowing anywhere within the kegerator would get air moving around since it's such a small space. It seems like the biggest issue for me is that it's cool at the back and warmer near the front. I may end up making a system that both circulates the air...

Computer Fan In Kegerator (not for tower)?

So I have noticed that the plate at the back of my kegerator ices up (and is -3° F), but the beer in the keg is closer to 44°. Obviously, this is not optimal in the least, and is probably why my beer hasn't been carbing fully. I did a search, but all I could find was posts about using fans to...
