Finally building my new kegerator ( keezer)

good question! So I don't have any good pics of the bottom, but this freezer had a lot of air space around the bottom and the compressor, which was held to the freezer similar to many of the mini-fridges with 1 metal bar... the bottom of this wood box has a small edge ( 3/4") to catch the side...

Finally building my new kegerator ( keezer)

its a little tall... but I only use corny's, so honestly not too bad... the design/location sort of drove function on this one...happy wife happy life:) a few more pics coming below, as well as a video of a keg going in and out, the keg being shown is about 3/4 full of water for testing

Finally building my new kegerator ( keezer)

As of this picture string the box still needs to be stained (tomorrow hopefully)), the rest of the parts for the tap tower ( black pipe) arrive through the end of the week ( so hopefully this weekend it will all go together) - then the 2 beers from the fridge can finally get tapped! they've been...

Finally building my new kegerator ( keezer)

Concrete form - needed to have pre designed holes for the pipe flange to mount, and keglines... didn't want to risk drilling after! color was added to make the top a slate gray/blue color

Finally building my new kegerator ( keezer)

After a move from WNY to Katy Texas 2 years ago I am finally getting back to brewing!!! An important step is wrapping up, my new kegerator is finally getting finished! The design was a mesh of a few things from the forums, with modifications to limited location/size/etc. In order to get it...

Keezer Build - Request for "logo"

That looks great - some vinyl logo stickers will most likely happen once I have a logo ( still working on that part) - I have an inlaw that works at a company that does waterjet cutting, so I can get a decent price on some pretty sweet work once I get a design!

Keezer Build - Request for "logo"

yup that path was my backup plan - always like the idea of giving other home brewers here a chance at some work first! thanks for the reply -

Keezer Build - Request for "logo"

I am about to start a custom keezer build modeled a little from a recent thread here... I have a source to get things cut on a water jet, so planning on getting a metal brewery logo for the front of my keezer. I lack the artistic ability, so anyone here have some skills? The 'brewery' name I...

    Outdoor Keezer?

thanks for the response - yeah im not too worried about its longevity being shortand a bit... I mean I don't want to replace it once a year... but if instead of 10-15 years I get 6-7 years no worries... like you said they are pretty cheap in the grand scheme of things..

    Outdoor Keezer?

So long story short moved recently from WNY to the Houston TX area .... looking for thoughts on a semi-crazy? idea ... would it be an OK idea to have a keezer outside? My idea is to build a simple keezer, nothing crazy extra and special ( wood collar that would be stained and sealed) etc...

Using personal ( very small ) fridge to cool ferm chamber

I honestly think a dorm sized fridge would do the trick - when I say dorm size I mean one of the like 3 foot ones, not the little desktop versions... again only looking for ferm temps - I agree I do not think the little 6 pack versions would do the trick... I originally posted to basically get...

Using personal ( very small ) fridge to cool ferm chamber

sorry for the missing detail ... yes the perlick does not work... mainly due to the lacking external cooling parts... its just the shell... replacing the cooling would be great, but not cost effective at this point... I got the perlick cooler itself for $50 so even as a stand and storage it was...

so long story short.... I got a great deal a while back on a perlick keg cooler ( two door, stainless top) pic attached as example, mines a slight bit larger and perlick... my question is do people think a personal small fridge like the following...
