    insulating mash tun

    i have a question about insulating a direct fired mash tun. has anybody tried using kaowool. the stuff used for forges,kilns and refractory furnice, and fire pruffing gun safes. it is ceramic and can withstand up 2300 deg. i planed on putting a secondry jacket around it. almost like a water...

    where to drill holes

    hello all, i have just scored a couple of kegs from a salvage yard I already have the tops cut and the hole's for the valves drilled but am wondering where to drill the ones for sight glass, and temp prob. any info would be helpful. thanks Kevin
