Ok at work so I can't post recipe but I was doing a Wit last night. Grain bill was 9.3lbs strike water was 11.63(12)qts @ 163 to make the mash 150 degrees. Mashed for 90 min preboil weight was spot on for 72% efficency. Mashtun is a DIY model with my screen being a SS mesh from a hose...you know...
Its sad that this place here in Tacoma(Lakewood) Wa has these outrageous prices for brewing! 30 bucks for a brew belt 8 bucks for ball-locks? Everything they sell is double what you can find on the interwebz. I'm perfectly happy driving to Portland to get my brewing supplies.
I have a WLP570 Belgian Golden Yeast that i found in my fridge. It has an expiration of Oct 10 10. My questions are this. Is this yeast still viable? Do I have to use this immediately? Can I keep this for another month then make a starter with this? Thanks in advance

Ive brewed two beers and according to my SWBO they have no flavor. I did a Wit and it has no flavor I did a brown ale and still no flavor. Why am I not getting any flavor?
