    Mouse in a carboy

I just bought some used brewing equipment and one of the carboys has become the final resting place for a mouse. It been in there for a long time, and its pretty well stuck to the bottom of the jug. Is it worth my time to try and clean the carboy, or is it time to trash it?

    White chocolate stout

Rather than bring a 3 year old thread back from well beyond the grave, I decided to rejuvenate the spirit of it. I'm going to try brewing up a white chocolate stout this weekend. I pulled and slightly modified my recipe from https://www.homebrewtalk.com/showthread.php?t=299993&page=2 . I plan on...

    Dream kegarator

I have had this idea for a while and figured I'd share it. I want to build the ultimate kegarator, not a normal kegarator, a kegarator in a bear. 2 kegs, pull down the arm, bear spits out beer, pull his tail, he dispenses beer a little lower. To top it all off I'll get him a little hat and a...

    Crazy Simcoe Idea

This is a borderline Bond villain idea so bear with me. Simcoe rhizomes are pretty well impossible to get a hold of without some illegal means, but that doesn't have to be the case. After some in-depth research I have found a better way. Micropropogation. A single cell from a fresh simcoe hop...

Chocolate orange RIS for a newbie

I want to start work on this RIS fairly soon, but I'm not entirely sure about what I'm doing. I've only done one other beer and I had help from my uncle who has only done a few beers himself. What should I adjust and what are some recommendations? This is for a 5 gallon batch. 12 lbs extra...
