    GE 7 CF (FCM7SUWW) Hinge failure

    While working on my GE 7 CF (FCM7SUWW) keezer build today. I managed to brake the hinges loose - more correctly the bottom hinge mount. The hinge mount plates are now loose and move around when opening the top. The thin (24 gauge?) steel shell is now the only support for the lid. It does not...

    Return to brewing

    Back in the early 90's I brewed some extract beers, then did several partial grain brews. Even went as far as buying 6 used kegs (eleven dollars a keg then) and a CO2 bottle, regulator, etc. Kegged a couple of batches and some soda for the kids, then lost interest by the late 90's...
