I got a mini fridge with a freezer in it over the weekend and I bent the frame back. I was wondering how fast breaking the line would have bricked it, like, is it fine now that it is still cooling 4 days later?

So, I have a 5 gallon carboy and an equal sized bucket. Should I use the bucket or carboy for primary and the other for secondary? Or just the carboy for both and rack into the bucket to clean the carboy?
So I have just started making mead and cider and i have been using cheap bread yeast I got at the grocery store. How will the change my mead as opposed to using yeast intended for mead?
