My friend mentioned he does a Guiness clone using nitro without a special regulator but with the nitro faucet.... Is this possible ? He does not even have a kegerator - he just refrigerates his keg in his refrigerator. I have a small kegerator and would like to try the Guiness clone on...

Bottled the MoreBeer Pliny the Elder clone a couple weeks ago - tastes good but very little carbonation.... I am pretty sure I added 5oz of sugar to my 5gal batch... Someone said add a pinch of yeast then re-cap instead of adding carbonating tablets.... Any ideas ? Thanks
