    Brewed a blue moon clone today pre boil gravity was 1.039 boiled 90 mins and my sg was 1.039 wth? Any answers or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks Ken

    infected batch

    Omg may have to burn the house down to get the smell out. I have a Belgian triple that I think may be infected or maybe it's just my ass. but every time I drink it ( out of keg ) I get the best (worst per my wife) gas. I that a sign of infection it has a metallic/fruity smell and taste to it.

    plate chillers

    Well I am getting ready to make the venture over to all grain and was wondering if I use a plate chiller is there any way of separating out the cold break or does it all get transferred to the fermentor? thanks

    I have a Belgian triple going and I was wondering how long should I leave it in the secondary. my secondary is a glass carboy.

    yeast starter

    made my first yeast starter today for a Belgian triple I'm gonna brew and when I came home tonight and shook it it looks like its carbonated. is this suppose to happen and yes it is sealed with tinfoil and no it's not on a stir plate. thanks

    wine with beer yeast

    what do ya thing of using a Belgian strong yeast in a wine? the wife wants a mild wine and I already have to Belgian strong yeast.

    what the hell to do

    stoped by my local homebrew store and got them to fix me up a belgian triple extract kit. didnt really pay any attention to what they threw in the box. got home and this is what i have. 1 brewferm tripple pre hopped kit 4lbs muntons extra light dme specialty grains 1lb Pilsen .25 black malt...

    Candi sugar

    I've been brewing for a lil over a year now and I've gotten quite fond of some of the beers I've brewed. The only down fall to them is I want a higher abv. If I add some candi sugar to these favorite kits of mine will it alter the taste any or will it just up the OG which is what I'm looking...

    Secondary or keg

    I've got a Irish red ale that is almost ready to come out of the primary. I've always went with the secondary but was wondering if I could use the keg as a secondary. Thanks
