Thanks for the feedback everybody, I cut one pretty much exactly to length and left the other a bit longer for sealing/purging the extra keg I've got. Though i realized that the hump of my mini fridge has this odd design where its got a lip on it and the CO2 doesn't sit perfectly on it...
So I'm finally getting my kegerator together, and while everything fits, its a bit snug. Is there any reason not to shorten the gas line to be just what it needs to be? Thanks.
I don't think you want a lid on your brew kettle either. DMS is boiled off during the hour long boil and you want that to happen. Having a closed lid will cause it to condense back into the beer. Just to revisit the stopper issue one more time, a piece of metal under direct heat from a flame...
I've always heard to be wary of bottling near where you do your grain milling due to lacto on the dust that inevitably gets everywhere. Not sure if thats a boogeyman or not, just something that came to mind when I saw your layout
