    Introducing… the Spike FLEX!

How about sitting down on the floor of the freezer with the racking arm and valve attached? Also have you tried it with the carb stone also? I'm thinking it would be very tight if not too big based on the dimensions on the site (especially once you to to attach a gas ball lock to the carb stone).

    Spike Brewing Flex fermentor

I'm intrigued by this too. I'd love a Spike conical but it won't fit in my fermentation chamber so I don't want to redo my whole setup. I have an SS brew bucket but I don't like the idea of the ball valve and weldless fitting potentially harboring nasties. I do like the idea of dumping yeast and...

I ordered this post from Morebeer and it worked in case anyone else was wondering like I was. https://www.morebeer.com/products/body-connect-pin-lock-corny-keg-beer-3-pins.html

    Pin Lock Beer Line Cleaner

Which style pin lock post did you use? I've been wanting to make a cleaner for a while but never got around to figuring out the adapter and corresponding post thread pattern.

Chest Freezer Fermentation Chamber High/Low Temps

Thanks for all the insights. I use a 60 watt bulb also for heating in the winter. Sounds like I need to get me a second inkbird and make this happen.

Chest Freezer Fermentation Chamber High/Low Temps

Thanks! And while I understand this method will solve the cooling overshoot, do you find that it is still able to keep the active fermentation from warming too much with only a ~5 degree differential of air vs target wort temp?

Chest Freezer Fermentation Chamber High/Low Temps

I've always used my inkbird in the strapped to the side with insulation setup, but am considering going with the Freezer>air>thermowell option (so I can always read the current thermowell temp) after seeing this thread. If I put a small fan inside to circulate the air also (powered on...

    Remote probe thermometer wort proofing

I just finally got the tubing, new thermometer (to replace the one I ruined), and zip ties to put this all together. I haven't tried it yet but it seems like it should definitely help "dunk proof" my thermometer. I still plan to be pretty careful and not completely submerge the probe on...

    Remote probe thermometer wort proofing

Has anyone tried just putting a couple of zip ties around the silicone tubing to "seal" it around the probe? I have no intent of using this in the oven, just for mashing, so I'm not worried about melting silicone or plastic.
