1/2" stainless tube supply adn bending question

I've made simple bends in SS tubing using a circle die cut from mdf or ply and a cheater bar. Bolt the circle to the bench and make a stop to hold the tubing from moving and use the cheater bar for leverage (I used a piece of tubing with an ID about the ss tubings od. Bend slowly until you...

Disconnected the freezer in my lager fridge

This. I don't know of any fridge that works any differently. I cut the insulation out between my fridge and freezer on my side by side. haze

    hand pump beer line/keg cleaner?

That looks a lot like mine. There are a lot of reasons why I prefer something like this over a keg. I only have 10 kegs, and I don't always have one empty or clean. Also, I'll often just leave starsan in mine to give my lines a rinse. It is also a lot easier to fill in the sink versus a keg...

    hand pump beer line/keg cleaner?

Personally, I find it much more convenient to fill a 1 gallon container with hot cleaner, than to deal with a 5 gallon keg. haze

Has anyone made a kegerator from a Magic Chef mini fridge?

It is just going to depend on how big it is. I have a magic chef fridge in my office, for example, that is about 3.5 cuft, which would not have worked. haze

    My peristaltic pumps

I got ½ OD 5/16” ID silicone tubing from McMaster. It is expensive, at 3.99 per foot, but it is much cheaper than the cole parmer stuff and works well. I'll hunt down the number if you need it. You can then just connect that to your regular tubing using plastic barbs. haze

    Another keggle rust thread.

I recommend you try the anode idea. here is a pic of mine: It corrodes so the steel doesn't have to. They put these in water heaters so that the steel tanks and elements don't rust out. Magnesium is the best, but AL will work. That is just a piece of aluminum rod bolted to the rim...

Upright Freezer --> Ferm Chamber noobie needs help

Exactly. proceed carefully, but if you screw it up, you've only wasted time. OTOH, you could just use it as a freezer :) haze

    Site Glass ?

I have a very simple and cheap DIY sight glass. I used 3/8 OD polycarbonate tubing. It is unbreakable and as clear as glass. I don't have a pic of it now, and I'm out of town for the week. Basically, I installed an angle compression fitting in lower part of the brew kettle (1/4" MPT to 3/8...

    Weldless Fittings Leak Tips?

That's helpful. That isn't how mine are done -- mine has the locknut on the outside, because it is brass. For the record both my kettle and my hlt went together without any trouble, no leaks and no silicone required. My cooler MT on the other hand, required silicone, but I think that is...

    Weldless Fittings Leak Tips?

I don't disagree, but are you using a lock nut or are you essentially using the valve as the lock nut? haze

    Weldless Fittings Leak Tips?

This will echo some of what has already been said, but I'll add a bit. First, as other have said, overtightening is as bad or worse that undertightening. Also, the fact that you have to thread it in could be causing you trouble, as you might not be getting the nut and washer up against the...

    My peristaltic pumps

I doubt it. I think the largest one he has has a flow rate of 2/3 gallon per minute. (3.8 mL per revolution at 600 rpm = 2.28 L per minute or about .6 gallons per minute) haze

    My simple In-Line O2 injector

That stone looks like mine. If it is, it came brazed to the SS tube. Also, you're going to get plenty of O2 in solution; I wouldn't worry about your flowrate. I would worry about how fast you are going to run out of O2. haze

    My peristaltic pumps

Yuri, looks like you made a very nice purchase! You can always find other motors to run the other pump heads, having the brackets will make that easier. haze
