I read a recipe from Jack Keller's site for strawberry wine. It calls for Welch's 100% white grape juice concentrate. I bought the concentrate, but noticed it has K-meta in it. Will this kill my yeast, or has it been neutralized already and safe to use? I assume since his recipe calls for it...

I used two mesh bags and a turkey fryer pot (7-8 gallons) for my 5 gallon batch. Barely enough room.

Could it be the yeasts have met their alcohol tolerance levels?

I've used 4 oz and think it still has a good flavor.

I'm thinking about moving to an electric system. I'm currently using a keggle for BIAB, but plan on going to a three vessel system this spring. I've looked several places and through several pages of threads on here, but I haven't found one where somebody installed an element without welding...

This is my first wine and I'm a little confused about something. When making beer, I don't want to remove the airlock, but I'm supposed to stir this daily for a week. Isn't oxidation a concern? Is that just a difference between wine and beer making? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I used gnome on my first batch without other additives. Pretty tasty, but I like zatarains better.
