    Icing an IPA

    I did a 120 min IPA and am thinking of icing it to bump up the ABV. 1) what is the best temperature to chill to to get water to freeze and not alcohol? 2) Do you collect the ice to concetrate wort? If so how do you get the ice out of a 6 1/2 gallon glass carboy? Thanks

    Using McCormick Extracts in bottling bucket

    I used 1 oz. McCormick orange extract in a wheat beer dry hopped with 1 oz. cascade hops. it was rediculously overpowering. just my personal experience.

    Has anyone attempted tissue propagation for hop rhyzomes? the kit costs $250 and comes with all the necessary equiptment I've got 30 plants and would like to expand rapidly... from what I understand is it is basically cloning on a microscopic level... any advice?
