I bottle primed my hefeweisen from n.b. used the sugar pills. When I pour the head dissipates almost instantly then continually bubbles without a head forming. Any thoughts.
I enjoy beer like most of us on here both drinking and making. My question is how long would beer last in a keg. I am thinking of going to 5 gallon kits and kegging instead of one gallon and bottling but i don't want the beer to go to bad from sitting around to long since i don't really drink...
Getting ready to do my first non Mr. Beer batch a one gallon caribou sober from NB . My question is how will i know when fermentation is done with out taking gravity readings? Should i just let it go for longer than the one to two weeks or just bottle at 2 weeks
